Join us for a DIY workshop, hacking everyday objects and children’s toys to create surprising sounds and a live group improvisation.
Bring your unwanted children's toys or chose from our selection.
Participants are invited to play their creations live on air at Soundart Radio on Sunday 2nd Feb. Suitable for beginners.
There are low cost and fully funded places available. This is part of Everybody Counts funded by Multiply and Skills for Life.
This workshop will be led by artists ERFling and man_e_faces.
ERFling and man_e_faces are two sound explorers who bring their passion for modular synthesis and circuit bending to life through this hands-on workshop. Both hosts of a radio show on Soundart Radio, they share their love for exploring unconventional soundscapes and pushing the boundaries of electronic music. With a deep interest in synthesis and noise experimentation, ERFling and man_e_faces guide participants in the art of circuit bending, teaching how to transform everyday electronics into unique sonic instruments. This workshop is an extension of their ongoing exploration of sound and their commitment to cultivating a community of creative, boundary-pushing audio explorers.
