A theatre performance by Stuart Chapman and written by Phil John on Saturday 8 September at Dartington Space. Buy festival pass today to attend.
Welcome back to the world of Eddie King: acerbic misanthrope and excruciating performance poet, whose sole mission is to plant a boot firmly in the backside of bourgeois art. This one-man performance encompasses Eddie’s imagined time at Dartington College of Arts, where he struggles to make sense of the important cultural questions posed by students and lecturers alike.
Based on the creative journals of DCA Alumni Phil John and Stuart Chapman, this humorous, yet scathing, performance documents Eddie’s struggles, as he attempts to negotiate his way through today’s cultural landscape with nothing but his memories to guide him.
