“Easy Neuroscience — The curious side of our brilliant brains”, is where brains get curious, and science gets human. I will be your friendly guide to the mysteries of our nervous system — decoded, demystified, and made relevant to our everyday life.
Hosted by the neurodivergent neuroscience researcher Asya Dimitrova, each episode unpacks exciting studies, strange brain facts, and curious questions like: Why do emotions overpower the mind? How does our body talk and why the brain isn’t listening? Are neurodivergent brains a glimpse into the future of human evolution?
Whether you are brain-curious, neurodivergent yourself, or just want a fresh, fun way to think about thinking — this show is for you. No jargon, no gatekeeping, just mind-blowing insights made beautifully simple.
Hi, I’m Asya — an open-minded neuroscience student, autism researcher, and neurodivergent thinker passionate about the human mind.
I’ve spent years working with autistic individuals, families, schools, and scientists. Along the way, I’ve learned that neuroscience doesn’t have to be complicated — in fact, it’s most powerful when it’s easy to understand and connected to real life.
My journey blends science with story, research with lived experience. Apart from neuroscience, I’ve studied cognition, neurodiversity, presented at international autism conferences, and written about how brains that don’t fit the mould are often the ones that hold the keys to the future.
In this new radio space, I’ll share what I’ve discovered —the peculiar ways of how the brain works, what recent studies tell us, and why neurodivergent minds matter more than ever. I believe understanding our brains helps us better understand ourselves, each other, and even where our species is headed next.
So, let’s talk science!
